San Antonio Company Launches Neuro-Inclusive Productivity Journal to Combat Fatigue and Burnout
San Antonio, TX — October 2025 — In a world overwhelmed by screens, endless notifications, and rising burnout, a San Antonio-based company is introducing a slower, healthier approach to getting things done. Sonnal Journal, founded by local entrepreneurs, Nick Ovalle and Chris Tripputi, has officially launched the Sonnal Focus Journal, a 12-week analog system designed to help people focus, rest, and reclaim their attention.
Unlike traditional planners built on hustle culture, the Sonnal Focus Journal combines insights from narrative psychology, slow productivity, and neurodivergent-friendly design to create a system that works with the brain—not against it. Each page invites users to focus on what truly matters, one week at a time, while integrating reflection, gratitude, and sustainable habits.
“We weren’t designed to live at this pace,” adds Chris Tripputi. “Even God built rhythm into creation - work and rest, morning and evening. Sonnal was created to help people reclaim that same rhythm in their own lives - to make space for faith, family, and what actually matters. The emphasis of Vitamin G throughout our journals (gratitude & encouragement) slows us down long enough to notice the good that’s already here, and that simple act has the power to realign everything else.”
The Sonnal Focus Journal guides users through a method Ovalle calls The 1-2-3-4 Method, a framework that simplifies goal setting into daily work priorities, personal wellbeing, and reflection prompts. It’s designed to help high achievers, creatives, and neurodivergent thinkers (including those with ADHD) build structure without rigidity—something traditional planners often fail to do.
The launch also comes at a time when national studies show record levels of workplace burnout and attention fatigue. According to the American Psychological Association, nearly 77% of workers report experiencing chronic stress related to their jobs. Sonnal’s approach challenges the notion that productivity must come at the expense of mental and emotional health.
“Our mission is to show people that slowing down, taking care of yourself doesn’t have to conflict with your work or entrepreneurial goals” says Ovalle. “Healthy productivity starts with focus, gratitude, and rest. That’s what the Sonnal Journal helps people build.”
The First Pressing Edition is limited to just 100 journals, each shipped from San Antonio and packaged with a handwritten note and access to the upcoming Sonnal Method Course, which teaches the framework in depth. The journal’s minimalist design, premium paper, and six-day weekly structure make it both functional and reflective—perfect for those who crave focus without digital overload.
